Church service, birthdays, village walk and language lesson!

Hey Everyone,
Sunday we had a good church service. Adam taught the Sunday school and Mr. Zander preached the service. Us girls stayed out in the courtyard with the kids while they colored pictures during the preaching. Sunday was also Adam and Arianna's birthday, so we had a party for Arianna with some of their friends from another village.
Today some of the Zanders and Pat went into Brasov. Sarah and I stayed back and took a long walk through the village. We went and visited some of the people we know here and ended up going on a long walk with them too. They brought us to different places that I haven't seen yet in Racos. Then we went to Ana and Valli's house and helped Ana and Mariana pit plums, because they were making jam with them. It was kind of difficult trying to communicate, but we managed somehow. Mariana's husband (Mehai)  knows some English and he was there for a little while, so he interpreted what he could.
Tonight Magda came over. She's from the next village over and she knows English, so she's going to be giving Pat, Sarah and I Romanian lessons while we're here. The lesson was about 2 hrs long. We learned the Romanian alphabet, very confusing and some of the sounds are really weird and we can't say them right, but she  helped us a lot. We learned a lot of phrases too, so now we can speak a little Romanian:)

Here are some pictures from the last couple days!!
Love and miss you all!
Love,
Anna

A video of Pat trying to say the Romanian alphabet. haha, you will see in the video we were all laughing!!!
