We have finally recovered from jet lag. Yesterday we took the train into Brasov. On our twenty minute walk to the train station, a gypsy offered us a ride on his caruta (horse and wagon). It was definitely an interesting experience! Once we made it into Brasov, we walked around the city a little and then went to the street meeting with the Sutek's and Logan's church. We attempted singing in Romanian, which was fun, but very hard!! And also passed out a lot of tracts. Our train back to Racos was supposed to leave at 8:05pm so we made it to the train station 15 minutes early, and come to find out - it was long gone!!! We had to call Mr Zander and he came to pick us up. Three hours later we finally made it back home. Today was an early start for us. We went into Brasov to do some shopping for Adam and Arianna's birthday tomorrow. While in the city, we were able to pass out tracts again. Anna, Pat and I walked up to the gypsy village tonight. Anna was so good with the kids, and taught them an English lesson by pointing at stuff and saying the words, then they would repeat the words after her. And then they started doing the same to her in Romanian!
Here are a bunch of pictures!!
